Zombie Outbreak Roleplay is a revival of a once popular SA-MP server of the same name. We are currently still in development, but have an active Discord server at https://zosamp.uk/discord

It is the present day. Law, order, and government have been completely broken down in the United States since October 2020. There is no sign of any authority acting on the behalf of the United States government, and those left alive are forced to fend for themselves against the infected, or "zombies." Nobody knows exactly how the outbreak started, the only information available before major media sources went down was that the virus is a mutated Ebolavirus and that infections were first detected in early February 2020. From there, the infection spread rapidly and countries became overwhelmed within months.

A single-dose antivirus was being manufactured by a company called Symedica, it was not a vaccine but was capable of eliminating the virus from the body as long as the patient was not beyond "the point-of-no-return," however supply infrastructure across the world fell apart soon after distribution started and the antivirus is only available in a few locations, primarily hospitals and military facilities.

The military in San Andreas destroyed the connecting bridges between Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas to try and curb the spread and prevent the infected from crossing, however this proved futile.
